Line 6 Spider III 120 Stereo Guitar Combo Amp

I have owned this amp for a few months now, and this is a great piece of work! Maybe the presets are a little overrated, but I prefer to make my own, and making your own is quick, easy, and you can make amazing sounds.

I use a Schecter C-1 Hellraiser through this amp and the sounds are so sweet. My old Fender sounds kind of bad if the tone gets to high, but then again it's a cheap guitar.

I played this in my friends garage, and it flat out dominated in sound. It could play over the drums and everything if I wanted it to. Anyone who says you can't volume it up is either nuts, or my amp was just blessed. I don't know, but my amp takes high volume with no problems.

I love the different amp models, even if they are digital. I can easily switch from a clean sound to a crazy shredding tone.

If you are unsure on whether or not you will continue to play guitar for a long time, you probably shouldn't buy this amp, as it is very expensive. I recommend it to any serious guitar players.

Slash

Saul Hudson, more commonly known as Slash, was born on July 23rd, 1965. He grew up with his mother as a clothing designer and his father an art director for a record company. In the mid-1970's, his parents separated and he was forced to live with his grandma. At this point in his life, he got interested in BMX riding and went on to win awards and money in competitions. When he turned 15, he got really interested in guitar (sound like anyone you know?) and it became a very consuming hobby. His grades plummeted, as he was never interested in school, and now he skipped to play guitar all day long. In 11th grade, he dropped out. Living in Los Angeles, It was easy for him to find people to play sessions with, and in 1986 he created Guns N' Roses. The band consisted of Steven Adler (drums), Izzy Stradlin (guitar), Axl Rose (vocals) and Duff McKagan (bass), and of course, him playing guitar. The band was a huge success and they went on to do amazing things like world tours. After one of their big tours, they decided to take a break. Slash couldn't deal with stopping his playing so he made his own band, Slash's Snakepit. This band had a big success with its album, It's Five O' Clock Somewhere, in 1995. During this time, Axl and Slash were having arguments over where Guns N' Roses was going. Eventually, Guns N' Roses was finished when Slash decided to leave the band. He moved on to doing smaller gigs and such for a time. In 2001, he married Perla Ferrar in his favorite black leather pants, white shirt, and black leather jacket. You would think that being a married man would slow his musical career down, but it didn't. He formed Velvet Revolver in 2003, and now they are working to become an amazing rock band. Slash has definitely worked hard to become one of the greatest guitarists in history.
